My perfect world

Hi! How are you? Yes, it’s nice to meet me. Let me introduce you to me. I’m a child of God. Everywhere I go, I preach the gospel, win souls for Christ. I just can’t keep my mouth shut. I want to win every lost soul for Christ. Through the power of the Holy Spirit I pray for the sick and God heals them. I speak in tongues. I bring terror to the camp of the enemy. The Devil has got nothing on me you know? I love my spiritual life but I want more than that. I feel so close to God. We communicate on a regular but that’s not enough. I want more. Yes I’m Oliver Twist’s wife.

I am a dancer. Dance is my passion. Being on stage means the world to me. My whole life is a stage I dance on. Moon-walking and J-setting my way through life, everyone loves me. School mates called me ‘dancing dami’, others call me ‘magic feet’. I can dance anyday, anywhere, anytime and in the presence of anybody. My dance life is perfect. What type of dance can’t I do? I’m always ready for a dance battle. Bring it on! Dance, for me is life.

My social life is it! Everyone wants to hang with me. I am a free bird. I make my own decisions. I am independent. I do what I want when I want to. I go to wherever the smurf I want when I want to. You should look me up on social media everyone loves me. I have a lot of followers everywhere. I am totally in love with my social life.

Now let’s talk business. I am an entrepreneur. I’ve got my hands on a lot of productive things. I am an employer of labour. I call the shots. I am my own boss. Miss independent.  I have a foundation, a cleaning agency, a bag company and schools, more to come. I’m not on anyone’s payroll. I’m too busy building my empire.
The favourite part of my life is my family. Everything goes on well for us. We have everything we want and even more.  I’ll stop there.

Perfect world it is, right? Naaah I’m just kidding. There’s no such thing as perfect. It shouldn’t even be a word. That’s where I live. This life goes on only in my head. I don’t have it all, yet. I have a picture of a near perfect world in my head. But hey! It’s just a picture. To paint or not to paint? Life is unfair, they say. How right! Things don’t go as you want. Things don’t work out the way you want them to. Nigerians say “na condition make crayfish bend”. My own condition has over-bent my own crayfish so much so that I don’t even have control over my own life. That’s it! Everyone has a certain ‘condition’ bending a particular ‘crayfish’. I want to dance like my whole life depends on it, I want to go out of my comfort zone, far away from home and do exploits for God, I want to do more than just make bags on the floor of my room.
Bottom  line? Life isn’t perfect. It will never be. You cannot always have what you want. That word ‘perfect’ only exists in the dictionary. There is only one perfect: God. He has put us on this earth He made perfect.  No matter what you have or what you have achieved, it could still get better. We are to make near perfections out of our imperfections. Yes I said it, near. So live, dream, make plans, achieve, and succeed in every facet of your life; spiritually, academically, socially and in every area possible. Laugh. Do what you can while you can. Make the best out of what you have. Go ahead and let’s see just how perfect you make your world!
